CRPF Recruitment The Central Reserve Police Force is the largest of India’s Central Armed Police Forces. CRPF Recruitment 2022 (CRPF Bharti 2022) for 322 Head Constable GD (Sports Quota).

Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens (Male & Female) for filling up 322vacancies for the Non-Gazetted & Non-Ministerial posts of Head Constable(General Duty) in Group “C” on temporary basis (likely to be made permanent) in Central Reserve Police Force against SPORTS QUOTA as per table at Para 2(a). The posts have all India liability. Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidates shall be governed by the CRPF Act and Rules. Applications from candidates will be accepted through speed post/registered post only.

Educational Qualification :

(i) 12th pass
(ii) Athlete of merit who should have won any medal in individual event in National Games/National Championship or equivalent.

Age Requirement :

18 to 23+05 years. [SC/ST: 10 years relaxation, OBC: 08 years relaxation]

Pay Scale and other allowances :

(a) Revised pay scale as per 7th CPC pay matrix :- Head Constable (General Duty) Level- 4 Rs. 25500-81100/-
(b) Other Allowances: – The above posts carry Dearness Allowance, HRA and any other allowances as admissible in CRPF from time to time as per Government orders.
(c) New Defined contributory pension scheme implemented vide Government of India, Ministry of Finance OM No. 1(7)(2)/2003/TA dated 07/01/2004 will be applicable to candidates selected for appointment.

HOW TO APPLY :

a. Eligible and desirous candidates should send their application in the prescribed proforma duly typed as given in Annexure-“A”filling up all columns on foolscap paper with two attested passport size photographs. One Photograph may be affixed on application form and another on the admit card at the space allocated for the purpose.
b. Applicants must send their application to the authority as mentioned against each discipline in following column No. 3alongwith fees of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) in the form of Postal Order/Demand Draft from State Bank of India drawn in favour of the Authority mentioned in Column No. 03and superscripting on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF SPORTSPERSON IN CRPF AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA-2022” along with the required documentswithin30 days from the next day of publication of recruitment Advertisement. However, candidates belonging to far flung areas of States of NE Region, Ladakh Division of J&K, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District, Lahaul&Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, A&N Island, Lakshdweep can submit their application within 45 days from the next day of publication of recruitment Advertisement. The application received after the last/due date will not be entertained and summarily rejected. Incomplete application, in any respect

Application Fee :

An amount of Rs. 100/- will be charged as application fee from the candidates belonging to General and OBC category. However, no fee will be charged from candidates belonging to SC/ST community and women.

SELECTION PROCESS :

(i) Candidates, whose candidature/applications have been provisionally accepted/found in order, will be issued admit card/call letter to appear in the recruitment process i.e.checking/verification of documents, Physical Standard and Trial as per details mentioned below:-
a) Sports performance/achievement/trial test as prescribed for recruitment of sportspersons.
b) The standard of candidates in their respective sports/events will be ascertained on the basis of merit drawn after taking into consideration of last 03 years achievements.
c) Only those candidates whose documents are found in order, qualify PST/Trial will be shortlisted for DME which will be conducted as per revised uniform guidelines for recruitment medical examination issued by ADG(Medical) CAPF dated
20/05/2015& 31/05/2021.
d) Testimonials of the candidates will be re-checked during Detailed Medical Examination Stage.Re-checking of testimonials during DME will again be the sole responsibility of Concerned Recruitment Boards.
e) The decision of Recruitment Board with regard to matters connected with this recruitment will be final in all respects and no further correspondence will be made for the rejected applications.
(ii) Physical Standard Test (PST) :-
(a) Candidates who qualify in document verification will undergo PST as per
standards mentioned at Para 7 above.
(b) Candidates seeking relaxation in height and chest will be required to submit
the certificate as per Annexure-D regarding their community from concerned District
Authorities. In the event of non enclosure of the certificate their claim for relaxation
in height and chest shall not be entertained.
(iii) Sports Trial Test: -Sports Trial Test of candidates for their respective Sports
discipline will be conducted by Board of Officers. Appeal for re-conduct of Trial Test will not be
entertained.
(iv) Merit List :-After completion of Sports Trial Test, Merit list will be drawn on the
basis of marks obtained by the candidates as per table given at Para-6(iii) in the advertised sports
discipline and marks awarded by the B.O.O. during Sports Trial Test. If tie persist, candidate elder in
age will be given priority. Tie cases will be resolved as under :
 Candidate securing highest marks will be placed higher in the merit list.
 If the candidate appearing for the recruitment having similar achievement in
International competition then achievement in National competition will be
considered for breaking tie (candidate with higher achievement in the National
competition will be placed higher in merit).
 If tie persist, candidate elder in age will be given priority.
 If tie still persist, candidate’s name in alphabetical order in English will be given
priority.
